How Our Network Works
Establish Who You Are Speaking With
Ask for the business name at the start of the conversation. Confirm whether you are discussing a referral or speaking with the independent provider who may do the work. Containedaimed Walk-In Tubs connects homeowners with providers. It does not send an installation crew of its own.
Before booking an assessment, get the provider's contact details. Ask who will visit and whether that business would also hold your contract.
Describe the Hard Part of Bathing
The provider may ask about your current tub, the bathroom size, and how you enter the room. Explain what feels awkward. You might need a lower step or a seat within reach of the controls.
Mention any mobility aid you use and whether someone helps you bathe. Share only details relevant to the layout. Photos and rough measurements may help the first discussion. Ask which details need checking in person before a quote is ready.
Ask for a Walkthrough of the Proposed Layout
Have the provider explain how you would enter, bathe, and leave. For a walk-in tub, ask about the door swing and where you wait while water fills and drains. For a shower, discuss the threshold and where water could reach the floor.
A useful answer refers to the proposed model and your room measurements. General claims about comfort or access leave too much unanswered. Ask how the design accounts for your reach and turning space.
Read Past the Product Price
Request a written quote with the model, work scope, and exclusions. Ask whether removal and disposal are included. Find out how concealed damage or extra plumbing work would be priced and approved.
Check payment stages and any cancellation terms. Ask who handles permits where required. Pressure to sign before you can read the scope is a reason to pause. So are vague answers about who is responsible for unfinished work or repairs.
Keep the Decision in Your Hands
Providers in our network run independent businesses. You decide whether to hire a provider after reviewing the proposal. A referral does not require you to accept a quote.
Keep written records of changes you agree to. If a detail changes, ask for the revised scope and price before that work starts. Know who your project contact is and how to raise a concern.
Request a callback to check provider availability and discuss your bathing needs. The request form is another way to explain your project before a conversation.
